Multifunctional stand-alone module
As a highlight in the field of safe automation, we present the new programmable stand-alone safety module SAFEMASTER PRO COMPACT for controlling smaller machines and plants. With a width of only 45 mm, the compact safety module UH 6940 offers you 16 safe inputs and 4 pairs of OSSD outputs. The UH 6940 monitors numerous safety functions such as emergency stop, safety mats, safety light curtains, safety switches etc. in just one device. This saves costs and space in the switch cabinet.
Safe contact extension with only 17,5 mm
The extension module RK 6929 from the SAFEMASTER series offers up to two separately controllable forcibly guided relays in a compact enclosure with a width of only 17.5 mm and is used to decouple the control and power levels as well as for contact reinforcement. As an output extension for signals from safety control systems (OSSD), the RK 6929 switches actuators reliably and potential-free. The extension module can be used in mechanical and plant engineering as well as in applications for firing systems in accordance with EN 50156-1. For use in the application area of EN 61010-1, the clearances and creepage distances between mains circuits and touchable voltages as well as between mains circuits are dimensioned according to double insulation.
Insulation monitoring for IT systems up to DC 1500 V
The combination of the insulation monitor RN 5897/010 and the new coupling device RR 5898 is predestined for use in modern applications in which the insulation of IT systems with high voltages needs to be monitored. The devices from the VARIMETER IMD series are suitable for the reliable monitoring of power supplies such as battery energy storage systems (BESS), but also for applications such as test and inspection systems. By detecting insulation faults in unearthed systems at an early stage, the insulation monitor RN 5897/010 ensures increased operational and system safety.
IMD with UL 2231 approval - especially for DC charging stations
For DC charging stations, the insulation monitor RN 5893 was developed as an extension to the established VARIMETER IMD series, which specifically fulfils the requirements of UL 2231 and monitors the charging process from the charging station to the vehicle.
