Enabling / operating unit RE 6909
Safe and ergonomic operation

There are special situations and operating modes for machines and plants in which work must be carried out in the danger zone. Being it for maintenance, servicing, commissioning or setup.

With the new enabling / operating unit RE 6909 of the SAFEMASTER series, the operator has the option of bridging certain safety devices such as safety doors by selecting the operating mode in setup mode. In the middle position, the enabling device releases certain dangerous movements under additional precautions. If the operator releases the device or pushes it through entirely, the system switches off in a safety-related manner. Thanks to its ergonomic design, RE 6909 ensures fatigue-free working and offers many additional functions thanks to its modular design.

  • Ergonomic design
  • Modular design
  • Various expansion stages

Insulation monitor RN 5897/320
Insulation monitoring for DC charging stations with extended temperature range

The insulation monitor RN 5897/320 of the VARIMETER IMD family is used especially for DC charging stations in accordance with the IEC/EN 61851-23 standard and monitors the charging process from the charging station into the vehicle. The device is characterised by its extended temperature range and short response delay of ≤ 1s. In combination with the coupling devices RL 5898 and RP 5898, the insulation monitor is suitable for monitoring networks with nominal voltages of up to DC 500 V or DC 1000 V.

  • Temperature range from -40 to + 70 °C
  • Response delay of ≤ 1s
  • Nominal voltage up to DC 1000 V
  • Self-test function

Standstill monitor UG 6946
Sensorless Standstill monitor with muting

The safe sensorless standstill monitor UG 6946 of the SAFEMASTER S family detects the standstill of motors independent of the direction of rotation. Otherwise required sensors, such as encoders or proximity switches, are not required. Sensorless monitoring can be connected directly via the motor supply cable. Permission to access to the danger zone of a system is only granted by the release signal of the standstill monitor after the drive has been switched off and unplugged. The standstill monitor also offers the option of bridging the standstill monitoring (muting) for implementing various operating modes.

The simple integration into the machine and drive concept reduces commissioning effort and costs and is particularly suitable for use in machine tools, woodworking machines, centrifuges and rolling drives. With an overall width of only 22.5 mm, the UG 6946 can also be used in difficult space conditions in the control cabinet and retrofit measures.

  • Width 22.5 mm
  • Adjustable response voltage 20 - 400 mV or 0,2 - 4 V
  • Up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3

Voltage relay MH 9064
Voltage monitoring with digital adjustment

Precise voltage monitoring is necessary in many industrial areas. In railway technology, for example, batteries are monitored for undervoltage to prevent premature failure, overheating or a short circuit of individual cells. To ensure an exact setting of the response value, the voltage relay MH 9064 from the VARIMETER series uses a digital front display. The voltage relay can measure both DC and AC voltages in singlephase mode. Overvoltage, undervoltage or window function are monitored and signalled via two independent changeover contacts.

  • Measuring range up to AC/DC 600 V
  • Preventive maintenance
  • For higher productivity
  • Precise and reliable

Electronic enclosure KV 4600
Full functionality at the front of the enclosure

High flexibility, modularity and multifunctionality are requirements for today’s control and automation devices. Equipment manufacturers also place these expectations on enclosure systems. They must be individually designable and configurable. The KV 4600 electronics enclosure from DOLD gives manufacturers exactly the flexibility they need for their automation devices with regard to IoT and networking. Customerspecific adaptations as well as individual, multi-coloured device labelling in digital printing processes can be easily and cost-effectively implemented.

  • Full range of functions on the enclosure front
  • Fast assembly due to simplified enclosure design
  • High mechanical stability and vibration resistance
