Without a separate auxiliary voltage, the phase monitor BD 9080/003 monitors undervoltage/overvoltage up to max. 3 AC 1000 V, the voltage symmetry of the phases, phase failure and phase sequence in three-phase mains. The response delay can be set from 0.1 to 30 sec. The start-up delay time is permanently set to 30 sec. and is effective once after the operating voltage is applied. The user-friendly device configuration allows an optimal adaptation to your application. The phase monitor is versatile and protects e.g. against motor damage in case of phase asymmetry or phase failure. A further area of application is the protection of persons and equipment in case of a reversal of the direction of rotation in the area of application of conveyor systems.
