The PK 9265 solid-state contactor from the POWERSWITCH series is designed as a switch for DC loads. When the control voltage is applied, the load circuit at the output of the solid-state contactor is switched through. The LED indicator signals the status of the control input. The semiconductor principle eliminates the disadvantages of electromechanical relays, which manifest themselves, for example, in the form of arcing (especially with DC loads) and contact bounce. This results in a longer service life and higher current carrying capacity for the solid-state contactor.
