The radio controlled safety system UH 6900, expands on the comprehensive DOLD functional safety wireless product range. In addition to the existing SAFEMASTER W safe mobile emergency stop systems and wireless enabling switches, DOLD now offers a safe wireless solution for paired and group mode operation systems. It can be integrated wirelessly into a variety of safety-related applications, even in rugged, difficult to access and wide ranging systems. Even in areas where classic safety technology reaches its limits, signals can now be transmitted safely by radio.

The radio controlled safety system UH 6900 of the SAFEMASTER W series enables the safety-related transmission of emergency stop and control functions. Two safety zones can thus be wirelessly connected over a greater distance. The TÜV-certified system for safety requirements up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3 is characterised by its long transmission range of up to 800 m. The main application areas include extensive plants and mobile applications such as fully automated floor conveyors and automated guided vehicles (AGV).

Group mode
The radio controlled safety system UH 6900 of the SAFEMASTER W series for group mode enables the transmission of emergency stop and control functions. With one group controller, up to 255 receivers can be safely switched off via a unidirectional, safety-oriented radio link. Furthermore, the controller can exchange report, control and status information with a receiver. The main application areas include mobile applications, such as completely-automated floor conveyors and automated guided vehicles (AGV).

Besides the safety function, the handheld transmitter has a button and switch which can be freely configured for user-specific control tasks for convenient operation. Independent of the user’s location, it facilitates secure operation and makes it possible to switch off facilities in dangerous situations. It can be used universally, providing maximum mobility and safety.
