Time relay

The product range of timing technology includes timing relays (relays with fixed timing behaviour) with variable timing functions and conforms to various international standards, including IEC/EN 61812-1 (VDE 0435-2021): Multi-function relays, flasher relays, timing relays, switch-on wiping relays and switch-off wiping relays, pulse shapers / pulse generators, star-delta timing relays, response-delayed timing relays, drop-out-delayed timing relays and safety timing relays.

Time relays are a type of electromechanical relay with an integrated time function. With conventional relays, the contacts are closed or opened when voltage is applied. With time relays, however, the contacts are only closed or opened before or after a certain period of time.
